Dave White Sea Turtle Diamond Dust
Sold for £900
Contemporary art collectors had an incredible opportunity to acquire a powerful work by celebrated British contemporary artist Dave White (b. 1971), and competitive bidding saw it sell for £900. Known globally for his dynamic, expressive depictions of endangered species, White’s highly coveted “Sea Turtle” proved a popular lot. This particular piece is a masterful example of his multimedia printmaking process, utilizing a high-definition giclee base layered with rich silkscreen varnishes and finished with a shimmering coat of genuine diamond dust that catches the light beautifully.
This striking artwork is number 13 from a highly exclusive limited edition of just 50 worldwide. The piece was hand-signed and numbered by the artist on the reverse (verso) and came beautifully framed, measuring a commanding 134 x 102 cm overall. Captured in White’s signature style—characterized by fluid paint drips, vibrant colours, and raw movement—this imposing work bridges the gap between traditional wildlife portraiture and modern pop abstraction, and its sale price reflects the strong collector demand for White’s limited-edition prints.
